I think, “Why?” What is the villain here that blinds all of these people to this situation? Am I nuts for thinking this is exceptional? Does anyone else see this? Did I accidentally drop acid and not realize? I must take a photo….

In 2008 I went to Gulfport, Mississippi with TOMS to give shoes to kids. I was 18 and traveling alone for the first time (read: VERY NERVOUS).
On one of my flights, though, I looked out the window to see this: a rainbow encircling the shadow of my plane.I’m not much of a believer, but I sure as hell felt protected.
